Transformers, robots in disguise...

The Transformers movie is coming soon to the theaters.

While earth is caught in the middle of an intergalactic war between two races of robots, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons,... I found another type of transformers...... tokidoki style :)

Picnic Day :)

We went on a picnic this fine sunday afternoon, for some fresh air and Blue skies.

It was a de-stresser, very nice in fact to be at the beach and just watch the day goes by.

Today, we have a special guest, Yuki.

Faith was quite happy to meet this new friend. Here's a shot of Kieran and his Ah-yi.

After playing with the bubble gun, Faith went on to build some sandcastles at the beach. She did bring some shells back home as souvenirs.

Ballerina Faith in the making

Faith has been requesting for ballet lessons and we went to the nearby community centre to check things out.

On the actual day for her first ballet lesson, Faith suddenly backed out and refuse to go for the class anymore. So, I went on for further interrogation.

Faith : I don't want ballet class.
Me : why?
Faith : Because my teacher and the children are not there.
Me : Of course, your teacher and children are from seedling patch and they don't have ballet class there. You will meet new teacher and new children in this ballet class.
Faith : I don't want to go.
Me : You don't like ballet anymore?
Faith : I'm Shy.
Me : * Roll my eyes*
Me : OK, we will just go and take a look only. Take a look at the new ballet teacher and new children there. If you like them, then we join ok?
Faith : OK. ( and she skipped to wear her shoes and we left for the new class.)

We met the new teacher Ms Choo and she agreed for a trial class so that Faith can then decide if she wants to join Ballet Class after that.

She totally enjoyed the class and Yes, she is a ballerina in the making.

Creative juicies on the flow....

I'm back to creating my hobby of creating earrings again, it was a long rest since I was pregnant and after my delivery of Kieran. After the crazy days of changing diapers and feeding baby are nearly over, I managed to find some time to destress myself a little. If you do not already know, making earrings is a truly addictive affair, the satisfaction of making nice glamour earrings is just great.

Here are some of the pics. If you like what you see, items are for sale. Do contact me for more details.

Segar Park Connector

The Ang Clan went to the Segar Park Connector on this fine Saturday afternoon, just to test things out. We've been staying here for nearly 6 years and we've only been to the park for less than 3 times.

So off we go.......

This is faith testing out on the stone flooring for blood circulation.

It's a nice and quick gateaway from the clutter and into some greenery.

Cute notices.

We had a good time together :)

Pissed at work

My loyal customer called today to feedback on some issues with our contract. However, the managers cannot be bothered to even provide some explanation to pacify the customer. Let us refresh their memories when these figures were clocked, big fat comm just went sliently into their pockets. However, when things needed to be resolved, they tai-chi here and there just to get the shit off their ass.

#%^%&@@**"$#2=@$%!#%^
IF YOU TAKE THE MONEY, YOU BETTER GET THE STUFF DONE.

While they sit and cross their fingers that the worse do not happen, I happen to be the dump ass who have to worry about the SLA that they have promised.

That's it...

What do our dreams really mean???

I've been having lots of vivid dreams lately, more of nightmares I would say. I am not too sure why it happen that way. After sourcing around for some answers, I found some at MSN Astrology.

Trying the decipher the dreams, I went on to search on their interpretation:

Ghost
1. Dreaming of a haunted house indicates that guilt from the past is holding you back from accomplishing something you really want. Actually seeing a ghost, however, is an omen of good luck.
2. If you are frightened by a ghost, this could mean that mistakes in your past have “come back to haunt you.” It could also mean that intense pressure to do something against your principles could be put upon you by someone in a position of authority.

Death
1. An imminent transition, perhaps a move, or change of job or lover.
2. An impending death in the world of the dreamer—usually a relative, friend, or admired public figure. The dreamer's death, however, is never shown.
3. The need for change in some department of the dreamer's life. As to what: Watch for other symbols in the dream.
Astrological parallel: Scorpio.
Tarot parallel: Death.

Drowning
1. Feeling overwhelmed, perhaps by work, obligations, or life itself.
2. Inundation; too many people making too many demands on the dreamer.

Dying
Not a portent of death per se.
1. If you dream of dying yourself, then all your troubles will soon be over and you can start anew. However, it could also mean that a part of you is dying and, if the other symbols in the dream tell you that it’s a part of you that you like, you’d better find a way to resurrect it, and fast.

Chase/being chased
1. Being at a disadvantage in a given situation.
2. Actually being pursued, probably in the sense of being "chased" by a potential lover, employer, or customer.
Astrological parallels: Aries, Gemini, Mercury.

Running (away from something)
Something in the dreamer's life is difficult to face, and the dreamer would rather run away from it than face it. If such a situation is not readily recognized by the dreamer, looking to the other symbols in the dream should give the answer.

I guessed i was too bothered about work and work AGAIN.

QianHu Fish Farm at CCK

We went to QianHu Fish Farm at CCK this saturday, to try out the famous fish spa.

Instead of normal local fishes, we were greeted with lots of colorful fishes and marine creatures.

We paid $10 per hour hr session and we tried this "SPA SERVICE". You dip your leg into this pond full of "doctor fishes" and their bites ( more tikkle-ish rather than painful) are supposingly to remove the dead skins in yr leg and to cure HongKong Legs etc etc etc.

Faith wanted to catch some LoKang fish and we went ahead to try our luck.

It ended up more like daddy was the one catching them. Faith was happy to bring home her catch in a small plastic container.

We had a fun-filled trip at QianHu and went home to recuperate after the super-tired day-out :)

Tokidoki collaborations.. U rock!!!

Look what I've found from the web... These are only some of the collaborations for Tokidoki.

I love this ipod skins. I will definately get my hands on at least one of the lovely designs.

Tokidoki collaborated with Smashbox and conquered the cosmetic space. I will try to purchase this online. Regina commented that I'm a sucker for freebies when it comes to shopping but this time, I am more attracted on the packaging :)

But as the jewellery, it is nice but i guessed I have to give it a miss cos it looks too punk on me.

Updates on Fakes of Tokidoki on ebay and Yahoo Auctions...

I've utterly upset by those sellers who claim that the bags that they sell over at ebay and yahoo auctions to be authentic when they are FAKES.

For all Tokidoki lovers out there in the world, PLS DO NOT BE FOOLED. If you want to get a authentic bag, you can definately get more information from : http://tokidokiblog.wordpress.com/2007/02/05/how-to-avoid-fake-tokidoki-bags-on-ebay/

Do not be lured by offers that are ridiculously low priced. It is most probably a fake....

Robinson Sale... the sale really worth waiting for

This sunday, we brought the entire clan with Regina and Alan to shop around at the Robinson sale. Faith spotted this large Exotic Holland Rabbit from PetLovers at Centrepoint. Although it is only 4 mths old, it must have been at least a size of a small silky terrier. Faith was so excited looking at these pets that she refuse to leave. The pets nowadays are so fortunate, just look at the amount of toys available at the store.

There was a Lego fair at Centrepoint too. I wonder those architect that built these are really kids ???

The shopping trip was quite fruitful, I managed to grab a few items with more than 35% discount from the rack price. Muahahhahaha........
