I finally get to catch up with Mr Yeo today. We went to the pasta cafe at taka while waiting for dan to settle his stuff and had a good chat. We chat about issues on the job, life and family, we accept that our perspectives are different. It is sad that we are often so caught up in the rat race that we neglect the dearest to us.
The food was just so-so - my apple loin was disappointing :( but Mr Yeo seem to have enjoyed his pepper beef spaghetti. Dan commented his crayfish Linguine in cream sauce was good. I didn't managed to get a pic of the linguine cos dan was hungry and didn't give me any chance to take a pic.

Dinner with the Yeo Family at HillTop teppanyaki
Check out this pair of cuddly mickey and minnie taken while we are on the way for out family outing.. it represents faith and kieran :)
We celebrated a very belated father's day dinner at the hilltop teppanyanki with the entire of the Yeo Family on July 29th. We reached there early so we decided to hang around to enjoy the nice scenary.

The Long long stairs ( hee.. luckily we did not park at the carpark at the end of the stairs or else it will be a long long climb.)
The viewing tower .... with the nice scenary of the entire jurong from the top.
And the food was not too bad. This Curry fish head is really good, topped with lots of tomatoes and lady finger...yummy...
The teppanyaki salmon and fried baby squids are delicious too...

We ordered a lot of other food ( teppanyaki beef, teppanyaki pork, veg, chix satay, etc etc etc) but we were all busy eating and enjoying the food and I was not in time to take them.. sorry.. next time then.

New additions to my Tokidoki collection
Yeah... my tokidoki Famiglia luna bag and the tokidoki journals have finally arrived from the US.
I also bought a new adios giocco locally.
Wahahahhaa...
Thinking back, others might think that I am so "kiddish" to fall in love and go crazy with all these tokidoki and kuromi stuff.... but who cares..... I just like them to be able to bring joy to add into my daily life :)

Back from Training
I'm back in action, after a week of hectic drilling, classes, quizzes, exams and networking. I must say that it turn out well over my expectation. It was tough mixed with lots of fun. After the usual 9-6 class sessions, the gang went out for some fun afterwards. Massage. shopping, ,makan and most of all- clubbing.
I took some pics along the way on some special things....
This fortune telling japanese Tropicana apple juice served in JAL.
The Yummy Nasi Lemak from Mdm Kuan cafe at Mid Valley.
The magnificent KLCC petronas tower taken at night.
The chinese restuarant in the hotel that we dine in for 2 lunches.
The Aerotrain in the KLIA airport.
I made some good friends along the way - trent : thks for your help again :) and I must say that I've learnt to see things in different perspective, learnt that moving on to greener pastures comes with a price tag , interpersonal politics can be so scary and last of all....that what goes around comes around.

"I'm leaving on a Jetplane.. dont know when I will be back again.. Oh babe, I hate to go..."
I'm leaving for KL today for a week of heavy duty training filled with daily test, quizzes and a final closed book exam at the end of the training. If I survive and managed to drag myself back to SG, I will update my blog soon.

Check out the new Central shopping mall
Dan wanted to check out the new Central Shopping Mall and so, we went to check things out...
We went to billy bombers for lunch and the food was quite nice.

Huge portion of All-star burger, bbq ribs and honey chix.

The view was quite nice too.
The shopping here at central is much like far east plaza, with lots of small shops selling Ladies clothes and accessories. However, it is much spacious compared to far east , so if you wanna get some decent retail therapy, central might be for you.

Casa bday...
We celebrated Casa's belated birthday in the office today.
The cakes from awfully chocolate are damn nice, with cherry and rum and banana flavour ( yes banana... and No, it didn't taste weird, in fact, it tastes better as compared to the cherry and rum.)
We also surpirse him with a stalk of sunflower - cos we reckon that as a guy, it will be rare to receive flowers from his gal friends.
Just look at the smile of the birthday boy....

Helen's BACK... with lots of goodies :)
Helen is finally back, after more than a week in Japan. I've given her a long shopping list and she managed to bring some stuff back :)

My kuromi stuff...i loved them... so cute that I can't bear to eat the sweets in them.

We met at the nearby Science Centre for a chat ( we needed somewhere with some background facilities in place so that our kids can entertain themselves, together with the maids and we can finally get some peace to talk for a while.) I must say Science Centre did really surprise me. I used to think that this is a Ulu place but now that I've seen it for myself, it looks very fun, esp with the water playground in place.
The Mac is also very stylish and looking at these collectibles, it does bring back some fond memories....
Back to the stuff that Helen has bought.....
Here's my new BlueLabel Tote bag... it is lovely.
Daniel's Black label sling bag
Occassional dose of fashion and my fav beading magazines for some inspiration.

There was a group of teens over at the next table in Mac that were making cutey balloon stuff. Upon helen's request, we managed to get some free balloons for Denise and Faith.
Here's the pose by the girls.....
Helen : Thanks for all the shopping and mental relieve. Now... I can't wait for you to go to US :)

Celebration dinner with customer
13th July 07 - Tonight we had a celebration with an impt customer at the Si Chuan Dou Fu Restuarant. to mark the completion of our biggest relocation project for the year.
.jpg)
The place was grand, I've managed to book their VIP room for 20 pax with minimum spending of $1000.

I've only got the pics on the venue and scenery cos I couldn't take pics on the food with 19 pairs of eyes watching at me doing the act.
The view was spectular, I could even see the venue for NDP 2007 and the iconic ferris wheel.
Thenight shot was taken by customer with a SLR. The scenary was breath-taking.
.jpg)
The food was sumputous and yummy. Though I can't take the pics to show you what delicacies I've eaten.. maybe I can give you the list... to let you drool a bit.......

3. Braised whole Abalone in oyster sauce
4. Beijing Roasted Duck

Lunch with Cordelia
Today, I had a lunch session with Cordelia. It was a long waited meet-up as she was ultra-busy with work and family.

Finally, we get to chat for a while @ a Jap Restuarant at Bugis Junction. The food was not too bad,
Yet, the company was just great. It was so nice to meetup with an old friend who really understands and I don't feel restricted to tell her my inner feelings.
I'm happy to see her again and we promised that we should do it more often, just to keep ourselves sane.
On the way back, And i bought myself a Kuromi key cover too.... :)

Tokidoki Nano skin
After some search, I was elated to see these Tokidoki Nano iskin from a local apple shop.

The pricing is slightly cheaper as compared to web purchase and i can get to save on shipment and time on waiting.
I happily took the iskin to the counter when i realize that this is only for Generation 2 nano !! and mine is only Generation 1.
With a heavy heart, I went to ask the sales-assistant if the casings will be compatibale with Gen1. And the sad answer is NO.......Urrgghhh...
I want to change my NANO to Gen 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
