Self Check

As christmas is drawing near, in my anticipation of the x''mas parties, I reminded myself that 2007 is gonna be over soon. And that a brand new year is coming.

I am currently working on the 2008 New Year resolutions and while surfing the web, i came across this meaningful quote :

An attitude of allowing life and people to be their unpredictable selves, while maintaining a positive inner attitude that has security either way, can bring every-increasing rates of success, personally and professionally.~~Doc Childre and Bruce Cryer, From Chaos to Coherence

2007 has certainly been a busy year for me, the arrival of Kieran, the confinement dreads, the 3 mths maternity, back to work and the relocation of our nest. 2008 will certainly be a more challenging year for me but I certainly look forward to enjoy every moment of it.

As u can see from this pic, Kieran has already gotten 2 lower teeth. Just 2 days back, his upper teeth began to appear and he is drooling away now. Will provide updates on his pearly soon :0)
Last Weekend, there was a x'mas extravaganza celebration and faith had lots of fun.... she had a painted butterfly and a red rose tattoo.
Do check back soon for the pics of these 2 adorable kids.

Pigging out and shopping again

Much due to the christmasy mood, shopping sprees and coffee breaks,I've been pigging out A LOT lately. I guess that I just have to swim more often, to burn off the excess calories but still i feel that it is all worth it.

On this fine day, we went to Sushi-Tei at Vivo and we were greeted with great food.

Crab meat Cheese Melt- yummy....Golden Dragon Role - The freshness of the prawn meat with the sweetness of the mango left us both speechless.Steaming hot Seafood Ramen in hot spicy soup base- great for rainy days ;)

Regina & YSC : This is better than the one we had near yr ofc.

Below are the gifts (aka my wallet wrecker) for my wonderful colleagus & friends so far..... Can u spot yours???

End Note : It is great to be having Christmas soon. I can't wait.

I'm smiling from ear to ear as i update this entry.
While supporting the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa, I've reqested a RED thing from Dan as my xmas gift this year. It is so pretty and furthermore, a limited edition. With some special engraving behing, it is quite a meaningful gift to me.

Great News from great friends

I was over the moon lately, after some greetings of great news from my beloved friends. Again, I was reminded of the importance of friendship and kinship in our lives and we should always display our affection and concern towards the ones that we love.

We had drinks and snacks today at TCC. With a newly developed sweet tooth, my msytery friend digs into some nice chocolately treats.

With the incessant rain and foggy windows, it portrays a wonderful atmosphere for the long awaited Christmas season. We promised to stuff ourselves with nice high tea some time soon and I can't wait for it to happen.

kids kids kids

The kids are so adorable lately. Just look at them and u can tell....

I'm so proud of my 2 darlings :)

I often remind myself to slow down to enjoy the joy of watching my kids growing up while other stuff can take a wait. When I'm old, memories of these joys will make my life worthy of this journey.

Moving ahead

We were shifting over the last weekend and gosh.. it was haywire. We have tons of things, too many of everything and it's driving me crazy to sort them out. My coming weekend will also be burnt so that we can clear my place in time, so pls bear with me with infrequent updates in the coming week.
