Bollywood Farm & others in LCK

We had a fun day at Lim Chu Kang today. We went to Bollywood farm and had snacks at Poison Ivy Cafe..!.. wat a name.There's even a map for the farm just so that the visitors won't get lost. It's a hot sunny day and the kids put on their hats... to get some shade. Go Bananas... thousand layer banana, red banana. There is a sign to warn us of snakes, and u guess wat, Dan really saw one hissing on the ground.Other fruits and veg that we saw along the way.

Big Melons, Guava, Egg Plant, Starfruit Tree,Cocoa, Bittergourd, chili, corn. Some rare stuff and plant that we saw.

This is a water dish for the birds, so nice.And a plant named TapeWorm. The leaves do really look like worms in a certain extend.Kids fooling around at Posion Ivy Cafe.. yummy food,cool drinks and dessert to sizzle the heat away on a hot humid day.

After a rest, we went to another Mushroon farm at LCK to see how mushrooms grow.

There, they also grow somekind of huge melon, wheatgrass and Catus too.

It was a fun outing :) I hope to bring them for more adventures during the school holidays.
