8 seconds of silence......

I was away from the office to attend a sales consultative selling skills workshop today. I did get away with a few tips to sharpen my edge.

1. 8 seconds of silence. Human being tends to get uncomfortable after 8 seconds of silence during a conversation. Use it to your advantage as a strategic silence so that your client will continue speaking and reveal more information to your advantage. During this silence, it also gives you time to think.( Personally, this is a tried and tested method by BB )

2. Early exclusion - identify the non-negotiable items early in the deal.Communicate these early exclusions to your customers early.

3. When handling objections, first agree, emphatize and then taggle the objection. Answer and address the objections tactfully.

4. Objections provide an opportunity to educate your customers. Don't fear objections, welcome them. Listen carefully to the complete objection, look for clues, hints and ques.

5. During one's thinking process, if the eyes rolled to the left, it is likely that one is lying and making up the case. If eyes are rolled to the right, it is likely that one is recalling information and retrieval of knowledge. ( I've personally reflected on my behaviour and think that this is kinda true... go ahead, u try it...)

Hope my readers benefit from these tips too :)

I was just getting my daily dose of gossip from Lynnie's blog and look what I'
ve found !!!!!!!!!!!

Kuromi from Sanrio ( the character for my lovely speakers that brighten my day).
