Bangkok HuaHin Getaway Part 2

After 2 days of shopping, dining and mesaage, We proceed to HuaHin on Day 3. We purchased the tickets for the first class Special Express Train from BKK to HuaHin and the total duration is 3 hrs. It was a private cabin with sleeping beds. We paid 4 times more as compared for the normal cabin but I figured that I couldn't survive with all the stuffy crowd and non-air-con confined cabin. I was more afraid of the sweat crowd with BO than anything else.

After 3 hours of rural scenary- endless rice fields and farm animals, we finally reached Hua Hin railway station in the evening. It felt as if I've travelled thru time to 20 years ago.
The Sofitel Central Hotel & Spa was just 5 mins away from the railway station but we were forced to pay 100 Baht to the local taxi :(
However, the hotel was quite a stunner. We were served with ice lemongrass tea glass ele.
The luxurious bed and bathroom with the touch of Old English Deco- it feels like raffles hotel in Singapore.
The breakfast was great, with lots of variety to choose from. U can get Japanese, English, Chinese food in one breakfast... u are spoiled for choice.

Even the honey provided was in a honey comb. What else can you ask for???

The flower deco around the hotel was nice.....Lots of greenery and lots of sunshine for this beach gateaway. They even trimed their bushes into forms of animals. Below is a tiger cub.Elephant cub.DeerBirdMy picture taken with the trishaw- so nostalgic.

After a sumputous breakfast, our first stop is elephant riding at elephant village. Our transporter is called LuangSome buddhist statues in the elephant village. The cute doggy that was having its afternoon nap.Special Wood-pecker lookalike bird The clever monkey in the premises.

More of part 3 coming up.....

But the trip to and fro Bangkok is 3 hrs plus each way, so lots of time needed for travelling.
