Then we proceed for some retail theraphy- shop and shop till we are starving. BKK is having their great sale and at the lingerie dept, i was greeted with 50% discount thru-out. I had to thrash it out for some retail theraphy cos it was such a good bargain. It ended up that we had dinner at about 10pm that day but the dinner was fantastic.
The Tom Yum soup shown below was spicy and full of flavor of the lemon grass and other herbs used.
The pineapple rice served with Chinese sausage, prawns and cashew nuts was fragrant. The 2 of us finished this pineapple rice within mins. We did order the usual Poh Pia and "prawn"-cake and they were great too.
The Green curry was more than what we expected. So rich with coconut milk, it was topped up with tender chicken pieces so rich in flavor. The best of all, is this Tang Hun with King prawns. The Tang Hun was soaked up with all the goodness of the spices used, sweetness of the prawns, delivering a wonderful mixture of flavour as we globble up the serving. It was GOOD.
After a hearty meal, we had a light stroll before we head onto the next treat - massage. Our usual joint- Chang Massage & Spa near Novotel Siam Square. We patronize this massage parlour every time we are at BKK that even the cashier recognizes us when we went into the shop.
On Day 2, We proceed to the four face buddha, part of our usual routine whenever we come to BKK.
